So, I made it to LA and so far, I have decided that I have to detox for at least one month. My body wants to reject alcohol--too much red wine--and rich food. My friends in Denver are amazing and I am sure that they are happy that I left. I think that I became an expensive habit/going away gift for most.
Thank you to Jimmy, Tiffany, Pocketsize and Steve, GQ, Fosh, the staff at Elway's, Fruition and the Falling Rock, Johnny, Doug and their group of friends, plus all of the people that made it to my going away at the Bull and Bush. I wasn't too influenced by shots...I survived. I'll be here to Saturday night and then off to the islands.
GO ROCKIES...

Harmony,
I'm new to this blog thing...but within 6 months I'll be a whiz. I can't wait to see what the world looks like through your eyes.
Love,
Shari

thanks, Shari...I am new to this as well, but I figure that I should definitely be a pro by March. I just realized how much I am going to miss my phone. Thank you for commenting and thank you to everyone who has called me today to wish me luck.

Harmony,
I have a feeling that following your blog is going to be an adventure all in itself. Like Shari this is new to me, (hi Shari) but hopefully I will get the hang of it soon. I promise that I will keep all comments G-rated for now. I love you and can't wait to hear about the duct tape.

Thanks, Jade and yes keep it G rated...I wouldn't want dad to be upset at some of the content. No, I don't have any duct tape, but I did leave some at my aunt's house. Maybe she could send it to me in New Zealand.
LA is overcast and kinda subdued. I am getting used to having to lug all of my stuff around when I leave the room. Pocketsize dropped me off at the airport yesterday and I know she felt that I looked like the Michelin Man or at least like I have a pouch for a child. She said that I should be ripped when I return from all of the crap that I am carrying around...we'll see. Maybe I will only return with my passport. I might opt for lighter travels.
